We have various machines available:

SET AT 6 METRES

SET  AT 7.5 METRES

  • SGME Spreader box
  • SGME Compactor finisher

  • SGME Brushing unit

The 7.5 m. set has not had very much use. It has done two runways and one motorway and mechanically is very sound. The compactor finisher has been shot blasted and resprayed and made ready for work. All the machines are presently stored outside and obviously the paintwork etc has been effected by this. However we can get these machines to site ready condition without too much work.

SET AT 9 METRES

  • SGME Orthadognal finisher
  • SGME Brushing unit

And then to make whisper concrete (for roads and motorways)

  • Autofloat Rotary brush
  • Poly layer
  • Brushing unit

This 9m set is particularly tidy and has hydraulic land wheels on each end which can be lowered when you get to the end of the run without having to lift the machines up with a crane. Also with the whisper concrete set up, which is pretty much unique, this is a fantastic train that is very versatile. The whisper concrete machines have the effect of producing a road which gives out very little noise pollution.

Please find below technical specifications of what these machines can do:

  • All the 9m. machines are fitted with incorporated transport wheel set. 4 wheels built in to the machine each with solid rubber tyres. There is a central electric hydraulic pump unit which raises and lowers the wheels on rams. This allows the machines to towed round site when you come to the end of a run.
  • Both sets of machines will lay at least 1500 cubic metres of concrete per day (concrete supply permitting)
